Terms of service
Last updated 22 August 2026
Who these terms are with
Social Orbis is provided by [legal entity name and registered address]. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so, and “you” means that business.
What the service does
Social Orbis stores social media posts you write, and attempts to publish them to the accounts you have connected, at the times you choose. It also edits video, reports on published activity, and can send an automatic reply when someone comments a keyword you have chosen.
Your workspace and the people in it
Content and connected accounts belong to a company workspace, not to an individual. People are invited into a workspace with a role — owner, admin, member or viewer — which decides what they can do. Members can write and schedule content but cannot connect or disconnect social accounts, because an access token is the workspace’s most sensitive asset. A workspace always has at least one owner, and the owner is responsible for who they invite and for what those people do.
Your content stays yours
You keep all rights in the captions, images and video you upload. You give us permission to store them and to send them to the platforms you have told us to publish to — that permission exists only so the service can do what you asked, and it ends when you delete the content or close the account.
You are responsible for what you publish: that you have the rights to it, and that it is lawful. We do not review content before it goes out.
Connected social accounts
When you connect an account, you authorise us to act on that account on your instruction. You remain bound by each platform’s own terms, and those come first: if a platform refuses, rate-limits or removes a post, that is their decision and not something we can override. Disconnecting an account — here, or from the platform’s own settings — immediately cancels anything still queued to send through it.
What you must not do
- Publish unlawful, deceptive, or infringing content, or content you lack rights to.
- Use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to run automations in a way that breaches the rules of the platform receiving them.
- Publish on behalf of accounts you are not authorised to act for.
- Attempt to access another workspace’s data, or to disrupt the service for others.
Scheduling is best effort
A scheduled post is attempted at the time you set. If the platform rejects it or is unreachable, we retry a limited number of times and then mark it failed and tell you. We cannot guarantee that any particular post is published, or published at an exact moment — publishing depends on services we do not control.
Availability
We aim to keep Social Orbis running and to avoid losing your data, but the service is provided without a guaranteed level of availability. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of a fault or a failure at a provider we depend on. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Suspension and ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, if a platform requires it, or if use of the service puts other customers at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why first.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited. Otherwise, and to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect loss, including loss arising from a post that did not publish, published late, or was removed by a platform.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will give notice before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept it. The date at the top shows the current version.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Switzerland, with the courts of Zurich as the place of jurisdiction. For anything about them, write to support@socialorbis.app. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.
